| Islam means submission. That can be quite hard for you non-Muslims to understand, so I'll give some examples. Say you're in prison. You could struggle against the "top dogs", but unless you're Mohammed Ali you'll get your face broken. "Submission" means accepting the status quo, even if that is bending over for another man, spreading your cheeks like a woman, and letting him use your shit-chute as a masturbation aid. In other words, "Islam" says "take it like a girl". The human body is a wonderful thing. Over time it changes in subtle but important ways - the hair gets longer and coarser, the skin tone darker, and all bodies develop a distinctive aroma. You could fight this natural progression by, for example, having a wash. "Islam" says "let it grow". Economic markets are a powerful force. If you try to fight the current you will always lose. "Submission" means going with the flow, getting the maximum out while putting the minimum in. "Islam" says "play the benefits system". We all spend time doing unnecessary things. Just think how many people wake up, take off their night clothes, only to put another set of clothes on! "Islam" says "go out in your pyjamas". In the west, politics has become big business. People struggle this way and that to get different (or not-so-different) candidates into power, culminating in a great voting marathon. "Submission" means accepting the strong leader you already have. "Islam" says "live happily in a dictatorship". Now that you understand my religion, I hope you can give us the respect we deserve. Just don't expect much back - that is the way of Islam. | |
