They say that laughter is the best medicine. My grandad has got Parkinson's disease and we've been laughing at him for months and he hasn't got any better. So much for that theory. |

| In 1997, my wife and I went on a once in a lifetime cruise around the world. I was reluctant to go as it was extremely expensive, but my wife talked me round when she pointed out "we'll always have the memories." Well, now she's got Alzheimer's and can't remember what she had for breakfast, let alone a holiday 13 years ago. So what a bloody waste of money that was. |
